Engaging in the cherished tradition of making lei gives me a profound sense of connection and serenity. It truly is a labor of love, weaving together nature's beauty and my passion.
I especially love stringing crown flowers (pua kalaunu). There are always butterflies and honey bees dancing around when you go out to gather crown flowers, and that magical pop when picking a bud never gets old for me! It’s just another reason this unique flower is one of my favorites. Knowing that pua kalaunu also held a cherished spot in Queen Lili'uokalani's heart adds an extra layer of meaning and significance.
Each one of our towels is made from a sustainable material called rPET. For every towel made, the equivalent of 12 water bottles are removed from a landfill! They are super absorbent, very quick drying and have a luxurious waffle weave, so you won't slip if you choose this towel as your hot yoga companion! Best of all, these towels are sand-free (meaning sand won't stick to them) and feature original, hand-drawn art that tells a story with purpose and meaning.
